Service Description

The Collaborative strengthens public child welfare services by increasing the number of well trained and highly committed BSW and MSW social workers employed in local departments of social services.


The Collaborative provides educational, and employment support for selected social work students who will commit to work in a North Carolina county department of social services. This is provided through cooperation between the Division of Social Services, the North Carolina Association of County Directors of Social Services, and the North Carolina University System.
