The Grants Management System serves as a central repository of state grant-funded assistance programs and awards. State funding agencies are required to register state assistance programs and awards with OSBM.
|

The Notice of Grant Award must be completed as the first step in applying for grant funding from a federal or other source.
|
|
Per 09 NCAC 03M, agencies shall not disburse any state financial assistance to an entity that is on the Suspension of Funding List.
|

Federal Resources

The Uniform Guidance is a set of rules and requirements for Federal awards from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). All Federal funds received by the department is subject to this guidance unless otherwise stated.

The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. government used to:
-Register to do business with the U.S. government
-Update or renew an entity registration
-Check status of an entity registration
-Search for entity registration and exclusion record

The Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR) is a currently updated version of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). It is not an official legal edition of the CFR. The e-CFR is an editorial compilation of CFR material and Federal Register amendments produced by the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of the Federal Register (OFR) and the Government Publishing Office.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) serves the President of the United States in overseeing the implementation of the commitments and priorities of the President.

The Federal Audit Clearinghouse (FAC) operates on behalf of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Its primary purposes are to:
-Distribute single audit reporting packages to federal agencies.
-Support OMB oversight and assessment of federal award audit requirements.
-Maintain a public database of completed audits.
-Help auditors and auditees minimize the reporting burden of complying with Single Audit requirements.
