Service Description

Overseeing clinical laboratories is one of the services provided as part of the regulatory process of Health Service Regulation. Staff activities include:

  • Conducting initial, follow-up and recertification surveys and investigating complaints.
  • Monitoring testing facilities' compliance with federal regulations.
  • Conducting on-site Medicare certification surveys to qualify providers to participate in the federal Medicare program.

This service protects the health and safety of the general population.
